Confronted with this dilemma, Jake Luciani, the author of a popular ThruDB project, decided to put the new AideRSS API’s to good use and did a quick study on roughly 10,000 latest posts from del.icio.us, digg, reddit, and mixx:

Day of the week? Not surprisingly, Tuesday to Thursday are the best days to publish your content - a pattern many publishers are certainly familiar with, based on the fluctuating number of subscribers to their RSS feeds.
