As a few of our visitors have already noticed and commented on, we’ve released a new feed import system on our web-site (a preview of which you can see in the screenshot above). This new implementation features faster processing time, improved user feedback, and a better user experience overall!

To enable this functionality, we’ve overhauled our ‘Feed ID’ API, and added progress reports for the feeds that have not been previously processed by AideRSS. This has been a much requested feature, and the new interface is as follows:

Response to a blog request which already exists in our system:

New feed, import process is started, progress is reported back to the client:
