Tim Jackson

Tim is a seasoned investor, popular speaker, and a director on numerous Boards of Directors including Q9 Networks, LiveHive Systems, Avaning, and Sidense. Tim was CEO/CFO at PixStream prior to its acquisition by Cisco Systems in one of Canada’s largest high-tech acquisitions ever. Tim devotes significant energy to charitable and non-profit boards including Chairing the Communitech Board of Directors, the Waterloo Public Library Board, and he is President of the Food Bank of Waterloo Region. Tim sits on the Board of Governors for the University of Waterloo and when not mentoring or providing strategic visioning he enjoys experimenting with the latest gadgets - frequently writing reviews of the coolest new technology for newspapers and magazines.

Ron Neumann

Ron brings over twenty years of successful management experience to the AideRSS Board of Directors. Most recently his entrepreneurial spirit and strong technical skills were used to drive SlipStream Data’s phenomenal growth. Under Ron’s management, SlipStream acheived high profits, signed over 2000 service provider customers in 45 countries, and tripled employee size in two years. In 2006, Slipstream was successfully acquired by Research In Motion (RIM). Ron’s diverse background also includes positions as President at Waterloo Maple, LivePage, (which was sold to Janna Systems), and Tallgrass Technologies. A graduate of the Systems Design Engineering program at the University of Waterloo he loves spending time with his family and applying Integral world views to everyday life.

Jacqui Murphy

With over a decade of operational and investment experience along with an extensive background in marketing and technology Jacqui brings a great diversity of skills to the AideRSS Board. A former Director of Marketing at PixStream and Cisco Systems, Jacqui has published a number of business cases and taught business courses at both the prestigious Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and Wilfrid Laurier University. Jacqui also sits on the Boards of LiveHive Systems and Overlay TV as well as The Kitchener and Waterloo Community Foundation.

Ilya Grigorik

A co-founder of AideRSS, Ilya brings an extensive technology background including experience running his own internet hosting company and a BCS (Computer Science) degree from the University of Waterloo to the AideRSS Board of Directors. Ilya is a dedicated blogger who in his spare time can usually be found data mining, exploring the topic of Human-Computer Interaction, installing computers in his car, or reviewing the latest batch of business books on Amazon.com.

Kevin Thomason

One of the original three co-founders of AideRSS, Kevin has experience on numerous boards of directors, non-profit associations, international user groups, advisory councils, and community associations in addition to work experience with leading firms such as Apple, KPMG, and Quarry Integrated Communications. Kevin has a love of the outdoors and is both an avid adventure traveler and photographer. He has assisted in a variety of non-profit community initiatives in recent years such as the protection of significant environmentally sensitive areas, third-world development programs, and camps for underprivileged youth.
