AideRSS widgets allow you to share and embed top stories from any RSS feed on your own blog or website. You can drive more traffic to your site by showcasing your best content, or simply share the news from your favorite source by copying a small JavaScript snippet. Take a look at the right sidebar of igvita.com and blog.leetsoft.com to see how these bloggers are using the AideRSS widgets:

Alternatively, you can also display the top stories from your favorite news source, like del.icio.us:

Top Stories Widget

In this screencast we will walk you through an example of setting up a Top Stories widget on a real blog in just a few easy steps.

In order to obtain your custom widget code, type in the URL of the feed in AideRSS and hit analyze. Once the digest page is loaded, navigate to the “Sharing & Widgets” tab, there you will find the HTML code for your web-page. Copy the JavaScript code into your page, and you’re all done!
